The recent communal speech made my Varun gandhi where he targeted a community was very un-called for BJP as they are finding themselves in no man's land.Neither they are able to defend nor support him.
Such speeches might have helped BJP in 1990's but i think they are still not aware what the citizens of india really want?
Basic commodities, Sadak , pani, Bijli , kapda or roti ... These are the biggest concerns but a young leader like Varun seems to have been trapped in the race to get more publicity in lesser time.
The BJP's gandhi has derailed his journey before starting.
Just if for a second if we think in support of varun's view for Majorities.
Dr Bheem rao Ambedkar after independence has given enough leverage to minorities so that can come in the main stream and all communties can join thier hand to bring India in developed nation's list becuase only living majorities can't alone achieve the desired target.
But congress used this as vote bank politics as always. Arjun Singh latest ploy of putting more reservation in IIT's and IIM's was one example of that. If Congress really loved the minorities they could have freed the education of all the minorities till 12th class and later the competition is open for all and no direct entry is given to any person.
Just ask a guy what it feels when he scores 65% marks and is not able to take the seat of government engineering college but a guy with minority quota get 20% and still manages to get seat in the top government colleges with options.
I agree that quota system when initiated was for really a noble cause but now its just a vote bank politics.
Comming back to BJP...
The biggest problem now is for BJP, anybody who speaks for Hindu's is said to be as Communal and others as Secular.But Hindu-muslim mathematics would not work any longer period for BJP, may be another 2-3 years .
So its high time that citizens of India should think that which politican can bring development , youth wants employment and not a view of other person which disturbs communal harmony in India.
